The San Francisco 49ers traded down once with the Miami Dolphins.
They weren't done. They traded down again, this time with the New York Jets.
The second trade moved the 49ers out of the first round entirely, but that's not as big of a deal as it seems.

Why did 49ers trade out of first round?
Yes, it's out of the first round, but it's only three spots. It's not a big deal.
They clearly didn't see someone on the board they wanted enough at the 30th pick.
It's also a fascinating dynamic to have pick 33, because that's the first pick of the second round.
Because the second round starts Friday night, after a nearly full-day gap, that's a pick that often gets traded.
The 49ers will get calls all day Friday to potentially move down again.
