Who is playing in the TOTO Japan Classic 2025? Full field and qualification explored

The LPGA Tour will now head to Japan for the Toto Japan Classic 2025. The next event on the schedule will be played from Thursday, November 6 to Sunday, November 9 at Seta Golf Course in Shiga.

Similar to the Maybank Championship, the Toto Japan Classic will also be a 78-player field event. Besides, all the players will compete throughout the week for a $2.1 million purse.

The Toto Japan Classic 2025 field will be devoid of top stars such as Nelly Korda, Lydia Ko, Charley Hull, and Jeeno Thitikul. Minjee Lee is the highest-ranked player competing this week, while Miyu Yamashita, Somi Lee, and Akie Iwai are some other big names.

Rio Takeda is the defending champion at the Toto Japan Classic 2025 and will look to continue the Japanese dominance for the third straight year.
