Lil Wayne is a massive Green Bay Packers fan, making it known he's a "Cheesehead".
But who is the rapper's favorite baseball team? Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, but does not root for the Houston Astros, a club semi-close in proximity.
Instead, he chose a team from the AL East whose longtime rival is the New York Yankees.
Let’s Go RED SOX!!
— Lil Wayne WEEZY F (@LilTunechi) March 27, 2026Much to the dismay of Yankees fans, Wayne is an unwavering Boston Red Sox fan. He sent out a similar social media post before Boston won the World Series in 2018 against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
"Okay, Boston Red Sox cap, I get baseball money," Wayne sang in his track "I'm Good (No Ceilings)."
Who knows, maybe the Red Sox will let him throw out a first pitch this season? A basic Google search indicates he's never done it before, so that could be fun.
Keep an eye out for Lil Wayne at Fenway Park in 2026.
