Who is Lil Wayne's favorite MLB team? Rapper reveals Opening Day answer

Lil Wayne is a massive Green Bay Packers fan, making it known he's a "Cheesehead". 

But who is the rapper's favorite baseball team? Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, but does not root for the Houston Astros, a club semi-close in proximity. 

Instead, he chose a team from the AL East whose longtime rival is the New York Yankees.

Much to the dismay of Yankees fans, Wayne is an unwavering Boston Red Sox fan. He sent out a similar social media post before Boston won the World Series in 2018 against the Los Angeles Dodgers. 

"Okay, Boston Red Sox cap, I get baseball money," Wayne sang in his track "I'm Good (No Ceilings)." 

Who knows, maybe the Red Sox will let him throw out a first pitch this season? A basic Google search indicates he's never done it before, so that could be fun.
