Super Bowl 60 is set for Sunday, Feb. 8. While the match between the Seahawks and Patriots promises excitement, the festivities of the Super Bowl are also highlights of the event.

Although the halftime show's headliner draws the most attention, it is not the only performance on the night of the big game.

Before kickoff, the national anthem and "Lift Every Voice" will be performed on the field, along with Brandi Carlile singing "America the Beautiful."

Here's everything there is to know about Brandi Carlile.

Who is Brandi Carlile?

Carlile, an 11-time Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and producer, is best known for her modern Americana genre.

Alongside her 11 Grammys, she earned her first Academy Award nomination in 2025 for "Never Too Late," a collaboration with Elton John.

Carlile is renowned for her collaborations with John --together releasing the album "Who Believes in Angels?" in April 2025 -- and with Joni Mitchell, whom she supported in her return to the stage.

It will be a busy year for the 44-year old artist from Washington. First, Carlile will obviously perform "America the Beautiful" at Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara.

A month later, she will kick off her global arena tour in February 2026, performing at major venues, including Madison Square Garden.
