When the Blue Jays announced Davis Schneider as the leadoff hitter for the pivotal Game 6 of the 2025 World Series, many fans frowned on it. Schneider proved doubters wrong with a first-pitch homer off Blake Snell, the Los Angeles Dodgers ace.

Schneider's previous two appearances in the World Series came in Game 1 and Game 3, but it wasn't noteworthy. In Game 1, Schneider went hitless and struck out once, while he mustered a solitary hit in three at-bats in Game 3.

These were the reasons why many fans showed reservations about his leadoff spot in Game 6. However, Schneider's sister, Madeline, was confident about her brother's capabilities.

Davis Schneider's oldest sister, Madeline

Davis Schneider, born to Steve and Elena, is the youngest of four siblings in his family. The oldest in the family is Madeline, who is seven years older than Schneider. Presently 31, she works as an accountant in New York.

In addition to accounting, Madeline has a diverse career that spans real estate, finance, and administrative management. Since July 2023, she has worked as a Corporate Accountant at Nightingale Properties in New York.

Before her current position, she spent over three years as an Accounting and HR Administrator at Platinum Properties, from April 2020 to July 2023. From March 2018 to April 2020, she served as an Assistant Account Manager at Level Group Ltd.

Before her finance career, Madeline gained operational experience as the Director of Operations at Creative License [April 2017 to March 2018]. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Location Manager at Location Bugs [October 2016 to April 2017]. From November 2015 to April 2017, she was an Office Manager at CBM Payroll.

Davis Schneider's older brother, Steven

The closest sibling of Davis Schneider was Steven, his older brother. Being in New Jersey, the Schneider family was all hardcore Philadelphia Phillies fans, except for Steven, who idolized the Boston Red Sox. David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez were his favorite players.

Steven, born April 25, 1994, was five years older than his younger brother. They were inseparable as children, even sharing the same bedroom. Growing up, the two brothers liked to play sports together. He tragically passed away on November 5, 2020. He was a nurse.

.Davis Schneider also has another sister, Olivia, the third youngest in the family. Since July 2015, Olivia has served as a Customer Service Team Lead at Vera Bradley in Marlton, New Jersey. From August 2020 to August 2022, she worked as a full-time Nanny through Care.com.

In 2019, Olivia joined The Walt Disney Company as a Food and Beverage Cashier at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim. Earlier in her career, Olivia worked as a Customer Service Keyholder at Paper Source in Marlton [July 2015 to July 2017]. Before that, she was a Childcare Provider for the Voorhees Board of Education.

Olivia earned her Bachelor's degree in Film and Television Production from Rowan University, where she studied from January 2017 to May 2019. Before transferring to Rowan, Olivia attended Camden County College from August 2014 to June 2016, where she studied Theatre.
