Where Winds Meet Walkthrough: How to complete Jinming Pool Campaign quest

Jinming Pool in Where Winds Meet is a location and the name of a Campaign quest in Kaifeng. During the quest, you take part in a secret meeting with some of the big names of Jianghu and infiltrate the enemy base to gather intel. It is a pretty lengthy quest, and completing it will give you a bunch of rewards and unlock a new Campaign boss.

How to complete the Jinming Pool Campaign quest in Where Winds Meet

Go to the banquet hall on the third floor of the Baojin Tower in the North Imperial Garden (southwest of Kaifeng City) between Shou hour and You hour. A cutscene will begin as soon as you get to the third floor. Once it ends, talk to the NPC controlling the eagle to start the Jinming Pool Campaign quest in Where Winds Meet.

Invite guests to attend the banquet

Murong Yuan will ask you to invite three guests to the banquet. Follow the quest markers on the map to locate each guest and talk to them. Once that is done, you'll be teleported back to the banquet hall for the meeting.

As the banquet draws to a close, listen in on their conversation

After the meeting, interact with Murong Yuan and Lord Zhao. This will trigger a cutscene, and you'll be sent to Jinming Pool for an infiltration mission.

Go to the waterway below the palace square to eavesdrop on the envoy's plan

After the cutscene, turn to your left and leap to the flagpost and the rooftop before jumping into the water. Next, check the option on the right side of the screen to dive underwater and enter the waterway. Go deeper into the waterway to eavesdrop on the envoy.

Track the envoy without being noticed

Exit from the other side of the waterway and leap to the roof. Next, follow the envoy without getting noticed by any guard until he boards a ship.

Board the ship within the time limit

Once the envoy boards the ship, you must complete the following objectives within the time limit:

• Knock out the envoy to obtain the Boarding Token
• Defeat the guard captain to obtain the Commander's Token
• Use the complete Tally

Follow the quest marker and defeat both the envoy and the guard captain to obtain their tokens. Next, place the tally on the mechanism to call the elevator to board the ship. Do note that the game might be bugged, and the elevator will leave you behind, so the best way to stay on it is to go to the corner and perform the walking motion until you reach the ship.

Go to the Command Room located at the top deck

Enter the ship and go deeper until you reach the Living Cabin, where you'll also find a few enemies and an elevator that will take you to the top deck.

Investigate the cabin to find Quintadent Warship Diagram

Follow the quest marker to enter the commander's cabin and interact with the Wine Cup on the table, which will trigger a cutscene.

Reconstruct the "Relieving Generals of Command Over Wine" incident

You must solve a small puzzle by finding all four small statues and placing them in the correct spot in front of the paintings. Here are the locations of all the statues and their correct spots:

• Statue I - In front of the third painting, and put it in the far left spot.
• Statue II - Behind the weapon stash, and place it on the second painting from the left.
• Statue III - Located right side of the puzzle, and place it down in front of the third painting.
• Statue IV - Inside the small room on the right side of the hallway.

You can unlock the door in the room by hitting the bell using your Bow and then using Meridian Touch on the Shattered Jade. Next, go inside to find the fourth statue and place it on the remaining spot. You'll know you've put them in the correct spot when the pillar under the statue rises.

Solving the puzzle will open two doors. You can find a chest behind the right one, but you need to use the stairs on the left for the quest.

Inspect the secret chamber to look for Quintadent Warship Diagram

Interact with all the glowing spots to obtain the key, map, and diagram of the ship. Once that is done, a cutscene will begin, and you must use the floor panel to go to the lower level.

Follow the diagram to the bottom of the warship and stop the conspiracy

Get to the lower level, defeat all the enemies, and keep looking for floor panels to get to the bottom of the warship and proceed through the rest of the quest until you reach a cabin filled with water.

Try to leave the current cabin

Climb the platform in the middle of the cabin and pull the lever.

Investigate the eastern cabin

Go northwest of the cabin to find a small room and look to your left. Strike the bell with your Bow and use Meridian Touch on the jade ring to open the gate. Next, pull the lever.

Investigate the western cabin

Go to the northeastern side of the cabin to enter another small room and ring the bell. Next, use the stairs and go to the other side to unlock the gate. Finally, pull the lever to raise the water level again.

Investigate the new cabin and try to restore the water level

After pulling the third lever, exit the room and go left to find chains. Use them to go up to reach the moving platform. Once you get to the other side, hit the bell using your Bow and unlock the Shattered Jade with Meridian Touch. Next, pass through the gate and pull the lever on your right to restore the water level and leave the cabin.

After this, you only have to fight a lot of mobs and make your way to the boss room.

Defeat Murong Yuan

The boss has two phases. In the first one, you have to fight her alone, but her wooden eagle will join the fight in the second phase. That said, you have to focus on defeating Murong Yuan while trying to avoid any incoming attacks from the bird. It's also best to save your Meridian Touch to interrupt the boss's special attack. Once you've defeated her, you'll be teleported to Bian River Gate.

Find Yuan

Dive into the river and interact with the fragments. This will complete the Jinming Pool Campaign quest and unlock a new boss in Where Winds Meet.

You will get the following rewards for completing the quest:

• Echo Jade x55
• Coin x 43000
