The first spot in the CONCACAF Champions Cup final will be won on Tuesday evening as Liga MX giants Tigres host MLS challengers Nashville SC in the second leg of their semifinal matchup.
Former Atletico Madrid star Angel Correa, who joined Tigres last summer, snatched the only goal of the first leg to give the Mexican club a 1-0 aggregate lead last week in Tennessee.
Tigres are gunning for their second-ever continental crown after their first title in 2020. Nashville, who knocked out Lionel Messi's Inter Miami earlier in the tournament, have already made it farther than ever in club history by reaching the semifinals.
Mexican clubs have famously dominated this competition. There has been just one MLS winner since 2000, as the Seattle Sounders won in 2022. Since that title, MLS clubs have reached the final in each of the three editions since, but lost all three times.
