The Indiana Pacers are dealing with a slew of injuries to begin the NBA season, but the show goes on as they play the Denver Nuggets in Mexico City.
Indiana is without Tyrese Haliburton, who is still recovering from a hamstring injury, while other key players like Ivica Zubac, Andrew Nembhard and Aaron Nesmith have all been managing injuries this season. As a result, the Pacers are off to a slow start, hoping to weather the storm while they get healthy.
The schedule doesn't get any easier when Indiana has to travel south of the border to take on the Nuggets in the NBA's Mexico City game. Nikola Jokic's numbers are not quite where they've been in the past, but that's partially because Jamal Murray is playing some of the best basketball of his career.
This game is an early test for two teams that hope to make deep playoff runs, even if injuries are dampening the competitiveness.
