A few familiar faces return, but the Arizona Wildcats will have a different look as they take the court for the 2026-27 season.
Fans will get their first look at coach Tommy Lloyd's revamped roster Saturday at the annual Red-Blue Showcase, which always brings a good crowd to McKale Center to see what's in store for the upcoming campaign.
The Wildcats lost their top three scorers from last season's Final Four team in Brayden Burries, Koa Peat and Jaden Bradley, along with top rebounder Tobe Awaka and super-sub Anthony Dell'orso. That's a lot of firepower to replace
The marquee newcomers are North Carolina transfer Derek Dixon, who was the Tar Heels' starting point guard the latter half of his freshman season, and five-star recruit Caleb Holt. They will join returning starters Ivan Kharchenkov (10.4 ppg) and 7-2 big man Motiejus Krivas (10.4 ppg, 8.2 rpg) in trying to repeat last year's run to the final weekend of the season.

What time is the Arizona Red-Blue Showcase?

The 2026 Red-Blue Showcase is set to begin Saturday at 5:30 p.m. ET, or 2:30 p.m. in Arizona. The event will take place at the McKale Center in Tucson, Arizona.
The program includes player introductions, a 3-point shooting contest matching players from Arizona's men's and women's teams, a slam dunk contest for the men's players, and a scrimmage with two 10-minute halves. The day will also include the start of a season-long commemoration of the Wildcats' 1997 national championship team.
