The 2025 premier women's tennis season culminates with the WTA Finals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from Saturday, November 1.

For the first time since 2003, four American women have qualified for the season finale. French Open champion Coco Gauff, Australian Open champion Madison Keys, Wimbledon and US Open finalist Amanda Anisimova and US Open semi-finalist Jessica Pegula are part of the elite eight-player field that will vie for the crown.

Gauff comes into this year's edition as the defending champion, having defeated Zheng Qinwen 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 in last year's final.

Unlike other tour events, the WTA Finals will see the eight players being split into two groups of four. After the completion of the group stage, the top two players from each group will qualify for the semifinals.

The 'Stefanie Graf' group includes World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, Gauff, Pegula and Olympic doubles champion Jasmine Paolini. Meanwhile, the Serena Williams group is made up of 2025 Wimbledon champion Iga Swiatek, Anisimova, Keys, and and Kazakh star Elena Rybakina.
