Japanese Netflix reality series The Boyfriend returns this winter with a renewed season. This time, the streamer confirmed season 2 by releasing a fresh trailer, updated key visuals, and full cast profiles. Notably, exclusive streaming begins on January 13 on Netflix. Meanwhile, the setting moves north to Hokkaido, where the Green Room transforms into a snowy hideaway.
There, ten men will live together for two months. Over time, daily habits slowly influence their relationships. As before, they will also run a mint-toned coffee truck, and through that routine, conversations naturally unfold. In the newly released trailer, viewers first see the group adjusting to life together. Soon after, it teases an unexpected reunion. Gradually, a first romance appears. At the same time, calm nights pass in the shared living room.
Eventually, emotions surface, and tears are shown. Throughout these moments, studio hosts react live, guiding viewers through sudden turns. In addition, Netflix revealed participant profiles, ages range from 20 to 40. The lineup includes men from Japan, Thailand, and Peru. Below is information about the cast of the same-sex Japanese show.
