Where to find Magnetron in ARC Raiders

Magnetron is an epic material in ARC Raiders. As the rarity of materials increases, their spawn chance significantly decreases. In the case of this particular material, although it is not needed for any crafting work, it is a crucial item for the quest named Snap and Salvage given by Tian Wen. Moreover, you can sell it or recycle it into other crafting materials.

Providing an exact location for where to find this material is impossible, as drops are random; however, there are specific spots where the potential to find it is high.

Magnetron can be found only on the Stella Montis map in ARC Raiders. The exact location cannot be given as drops are random. It typically spawns in the Medical Research POI, which is present on the west side of the map. Other than this particular POI, it is extremely rare for the material to spawn somewhere else.

Some tips to increase your chance of acquiring the Magnetron

1) The Medical Research is a red zone where it has high loot with high risk. So when you are going for this material, make sure you head to the Medical Research area as soon as possible. Because other players will likely loot and take this item away, as it has a great selling value.

2) When you start the match, check if you spawned at the beginning or late in the match. If late, then you shouldn't look for this item. Also, the nearer you spawn to Medical Research, the better chance you get to acquire this material.

3) Be cautious of the Shredder arc enemy, which is one of the powerful arcs on the map with high lethality.

4) Inside the Medical Research POI, check all the containers. Above are some images of the containers that have a high chance of this material spawning. So prioritize those types of containers first.

Details about Magnetron

This material, as mentioned, is an epic rarity item in ARC Raiders. It doesn't have any use regarding crafting. But it has a high sell value of 6,000 coins.

If you recycle this material, you will receive one Magnetic Accelerator (Epic) and one Steel Spring (Uncommon). If you salvage the material, you will receive one Advanced Mechanical Component.
