Operation Frontier Renewal in Wuthering Waves is a new game mode that will be permanently available to all players. Essentially, this event will task you with constructing road networks across Lahai-Roi, connecting several locations. If you have played games like Death Stranding 2, you will find quite a few similarities in this game mode, albeit you do not have to carry cargo.

How to complete Operation Frontier Renewal in Wuthering Waves

Operation Frontier Renewal is one of the new game modes added to the game with the 3.0 update. It is a permanent challenge, and you can access it from your quest menu. Here you will find a tutorial mission called Operation: Frontier Renewal.

Track it and complete the Fire it up Route Constructor quest to gain access to the game mode. The Frontier Renewal event is quite easy to complete, but it will take a while for you to finish it, as the construction of the road throughout Lahai-Roi will be tied to several resources.

All resources in Operation Frontier Renewal and how to get them in Wuthering Waves

This particular game mode in Wuthering Waves will task you with finding several resources and using the Route Constructors across the map to make roads throughout Lahai-Roi. Here are all of the materials that you will need to use:

Mechanite

Can be obtained from exploration. You can collect it from the overworld, opening Treasure Chests, and completing Void Storm Zones. It is the most abundant material of the three.

Compressed Bedrock

Compressed Bedrock can be obtained by defeating the various enemies in Lahai-Roi. But keep in mind that you cannot earn this material from Tacet Fields or Discord Nests.

Constructor Cores

Constructor Cores can be obtained from quests mostly. It is the rarest of the bunch, and besides completing missions, you can also earn it from chests and random world events. But these are minuscule in amount.

Besides chests, quests, defeating enemies, and the overworld collection, you can also steal these materials from Convoys. Use your Expedition Bike's hook to grab these items from the big trucks that you can spot on the roads of Lahai-Roi.
