Where Eagles sit in NFC East, playoff picture after Week 17 win vs. Bills

The Philadelphia Eagles picked up a narrow 13-12 victory over the Buffalo Bills in Week 17, as Nick Sirianni's squad didn't play great, but did just enough to pick up a road win in a tough environment.

The Eagles' offense was ineffective in Week 17, but Vic Fangio's defense was brilliant, holding the Bills and Josh Allen to just 12 points.

Philadelphia moved to 11-5 with its win on Sunday, and is getting hot at just the right time with the playoffs on the horizon.

The Eagles wrapped up the NFC East after their Week 16 win over the Washington Commanders, so there isn't much to talk about here.

NFC playoff picture

Philadelphia is still in contention for the No. 2 seed in the NFC. If the Chicago Bears lose their final two games and the Eagles win in Week 18 versus the Washington Commanders, Philadelphia will be the second seed in the NFC.

Chicago will square off against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 17 and finish with a matchup against the Detroit Lions.
