Why Alix Earle Thought She Was Being Kidnapped During Cringe-Worthy First Date
Alix Earle is sticking to the rocker zone.
In fact, the influencer, who sparked romance rumors with NFL legend Tom Brady in the months following her breakup with Houston Texans wide receiver Braxton Berrios and declared that she was done dating football players. And she admitted, after seeing Sombr perform at Coachella April 11, she may have found a new avenue for her next boyfriend.
“I wanna date a rock star so bad,” Alix exclaimed in her Coachella recap video posted to YouTube April 16. “It’s my dream. That’s literally my dream.”
“Do you know our group chat's The Groupies?” she asked the camera. “We wanna be rockstar groupies. So far we've only made it to the DJs.”
And when someone off-camera noted she’d also made it to football players, the 25-year-old loudly declared, “No more football players.”
The declaration comes just four months after Alix and Braxton ended their two-year relationship, citing long distance as the main factor in their breakup.
The Dancing With the Stars alum was then rumored to be dating Tom after she and the former New England Patriots quarterback partied at the same New Year’s Eve event in St. Barths. The encounters didn’t end there, either.
The pair were then at the same Super Bowl party in February before both attended an event at The Wynn hotel in Las Vegas in early March.

And while Alix never confirmed her romance with the 48-year-old, she has been candid about life since ending her relationship with Braxton, 30, confessing that the hardest part was “being alone.”
“Obviously, I have friends, family, whatever,” she said in a January TikTok. “I feel like just having that stability of a male partner or even just someone to talk to or distract me is so weird.”
“I think I’ve just always had boyfriends,” she explained. “I was a boyfriend hopper, and I said, ‘This year, I’m gonna be dedicated to being OK with being alone, but I don’t know why I can’t do it.”
Still, she was hopeful the experience would help her grow, despite noting that she felt “sad.”
