The plot of the drama follows the unexpected and chaotic events that unfold when a university merger brings together the computer engineering department and the modeling department. Students from both departments are now required to study together, setting the stage for unforeseen encounters.

Kang Min-Hak, from the modeling department, has gained over a million followers on social media after appearing on a popular dating program. He possesses a natural charm that draws people to him. On the other hand is Ju Yeon-San, the top student in the computer engineering department.

She excels at solving problems quickly, but even a single mistake can completely halt her progress. She spends most of her time working on her computer and has little interest in dating. Unexpectedly, Ju Yeon-San, who has never dated, finds herself entangled with Kang Min-Hak due to the random and unusual department restructuring.

In The 4th love revolution aka LOVE.exe Kim Yo-Han and Hwang Bo-Reum-Byeol are reuniting on screen following their previous collaboration in School 2021. Kim Yo-Han plays Kang Min-Hak, the modeling student and popular celebrity who rose to fame on a dating show. Despite his flawless appearance and charisma, he is surprisingly simple-minded.

Hwang Bo-Reum-Byeol portrays Ju Yeon-San, a former quiz prodigy and top computer engineering student. Having never dated and spending her life focused on coding, she suddenly faces the challenge of navigating her own emotions after encountering Kang Min-Hak.

The supporting cast of LOVE.exe includes several key characters. Kwon Young-Eun plays Yang Na-Rae, a computer engineering department and a BL enthusiast who dreams of a web novel-style romance. Excited about her department’s merger with the modeling department, she hopes it will lead to love, though her enthusiasm rarely produces results. Na-Rae’s witty and easygoing personality helps connect students from both departments.

Kang Dong-Won portrays Min-Seo, the president of the computer engineering department. Confident and charismatic, she is openly lesbian and known for her fearless “girl crush” presence. Min-Seo opposes the merger with the modeling department, demonstrating her leadership and strong will.

Heo Jung-Do plays Ki Myo-Han, head of the engineering department, which is facing a financial crisis. Myo-Han is trusted by the university board and considered a strong candidate for the next president.

Kang Shin appears as Im Yu-Ri, the student council president, and Lee Joon-Hyuk plays Paeng Gil-Tan, a blonde student who shifts effortlessly between macho charm and playful mischief. Both characters are involved in relationships with computer engineering students and Ju Yeon-San’s friends, Yang Na-Rae and Min-Seo.

Woo Ji-Hyun takes on the role of Kang Jae-Hak, Kang Min-Hak’s manager and half-brother, who keeps a close watch on him. Wishing for Min-Hak’s success, Jae-Hak acts as a dependable, slightly overprotective supporter.

The series is available for streaming on Prime Video and Wavve.
