A beloved WWE NXT star is all set to make his Monday Night RAW debut at the iconic Madison Square Garden. He has posted a social media update ahead of the show.

In his first match on the red brand, 21-year-old Je'Von Evans will compete against Gunther in the first-round match of the Last Time is Now Tournament. The contest will also mark The Ring General's return to in-ring action for the very first time since losing the World Heavyweight Championship to CM Punk at SummerSlam.

Ahead of the show, Je'Von took to Instagram to deliver a short message. The Young OG seemed excited about getting the opportunity to lock horns with Gunther at MSG on his RAW debut.

"TONIGHT At 8PM, MSG And Raw Debut, An Opportunity To Face A GOAT, Let’s Get To Work👏🏾👏🏾#TheYoungOG #NXTYoungBlood #WWERAW," Evans wrote.

Former WWE star wants Je'Von Evans to beat John Cena for the Intercontinental Championship

John Cena will wrestle his retirement match on the December 13 edition of Saturday Night's Main Event. He will compete against the winner of the ongoing The Last Time is Now Tournament.

Speaking on the Rebooked Wrestling Podcast, former WWE star Aiden English stated that he wanted Je'Von Evans to win the tournament and go on to dethrone John Cena as the new Intercontinental Champion at SNME. He opined that the wrestling promotion loved Evans, and him winning the IC Title would be a crowning moment.

"Honestly, if I had my duckets [money], give me Je'Von Evans going all the way. He's on a roll. He's on a heater. They love him. What a making someone moment for John [Cena]. Give him the IC title. Huge crowning moment... What if you just came out of nowhere with this kid who's already been on such a roll and delivered every step of the way? Sometimes I don't know if they'll do it," English said.

Only time will tell if Je'Von Evans can earn a shot at the Intercontinental Championship. However, his focus would currently be on the round one match against The Ring General.
