American blogger and columnist Perez Hilton recently shared his reaction to the ongoing Beckham family feud, which has seemingly escalated after reports surfaced that Brooklyn Beckham blocked his family on Instagram.
Over the weekend, reports claimed that David and Victoria Beckham had stopped following their eldest son on Instagram. However, according to The Sun, Brooklyn Beckham appeared to have blocked his family on social media after his mother, Victoria, liked a post featuring him beer-brining a chicken to give it extra flavor.
Fans took to the comments to urge the estranged photographer-turned-chef to reconcile with his family. While Victoria appeared to approve, the comments seemed to rub Brooklyn the wrong way.
Sharing his reaction to the escalating feud, Perez Hilton took to his blog and quipped on Monday, December 22, 2025:
“So what went SO wrong? We mean, they’ve been feuding for MONTHS if not YEARS at this point.”According to Perez Hilton, an insider told the Daily Mail:
“David and Victoria will never stop loving Brooklyn. They will always be here for him and they always want him to know that, they are devastated at this fall out. So far from this being them, it appears that Brooklyn has blocked them to show them that’s it, this is final. It is very clear that this is a sign of his complete estrangement from his family.”

Cruz Beckham backs parents amid ongoing family feud with brother Brooklyn Beckham
Over the weekend, Cruz Beckham tried to clear the air surrounding reports that his parents, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, had unfollowed Brooklyn on Instagram. The 20-year-old backed his parents by clarifying that they “would never unfollow” his 26-year-old brother.
Dismissing a report by The Daily Mail, Cruz shared a screenshot of the article and wrote on an Instagram Story:
“Not true. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son.. Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I.”Meanwhile, on Monday, December 22, a friend of Nicola and Brooklyn Beckham told The Daily Mail that David and Victoria were asked to cease communication with the young couple. According to the outlet, the pair found the Beckham family's Instagram posts upsetting and anxiety-inducing.
“It would be really in the holiday spirit if the Beckhams could just back off and leave them alone for now. The Beckhams started these ‘blocking’ game stories earlier this year and they keep going… Nicola and Brooklyn haven’t been commenting. They just want peace. It would be best for everyone for them to stop contacting, commenting and briefing because it’s not accomplishing anything,” the source claimed. For the uninitiated, rumors of a family rift between Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz Beckham and the rest of the Beckham clan began after the former photographer married the American actress in 2022.
