Jerry Jones said a trade was coming.

The trade, or at least one deal, arrived Tuesday morning. The Dallas Cowboys are acquiring linebacker Logan Wilson from the Cincinnati Bengals.

Coming off a disappointing Monday night loss, the Cowboys needed some good news, and this is it, with maybe more to come before Tuesday's 4 p.m. ET trade deadline.

The news was reported before 8 a.m. by both ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Who is Logan Wilson?

Logan Wilson is a 29-year old linebacker from Casper, Wyoming.

He played his college football at the University of Wyoming and is known as The Cowboy after having played for the Wyoming Cowboys. He was Josh Allen's college teammate.

Wilson went in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft at No. 65 overall.

Logan Wilson led the Bengals in tackles from 2021-2023.

Last season, he missed the last six games, and still had 104 tackles in 11 games.

This season so far, Wilson has 46 tackles in eight games played.

He has 11 interceptions in his career, including two separate seasons with four picks.

The Cowboys got themselves a playmaker.
