Then there were four.

After multiple rounds of competitive postseason basketball, the final four teams left standing are now heading to Tampa, Florida, with their eyes fully fixated on the 2025 National Championship.

The Final Four games of the NCAA women's tournament — South Carolina vs. Texas and UConn vs. UCLA — are this Friday, starting at 7 p.m. ET at Amalie Arena.

The Gamecocks (34-3) enter their fifth straight Final Four, dating all the way back to 2021. Meanwhile, Texas (35-3) is making its first Final Four appearance since 2007. These two teams are familiar foes, having already met three times this season. South Carolina is up 2-1 on Texas this season, which includes a win in the SEC Tournament title game.

On the opposite side of the bracket is a matchup between UCLA and UConn. A storied powerhouse program in women's basketball, UConn is making its 16th straight Final Four appearance. UCLA, however, will be making its first-ever Final Four appearance. It'll be a battle of strength vs. strength, as both teams are ranked in the top 20 in the nation in scoring offense.
