The 2026 NASCAR Cup Series regular season will come to an end this weekend. The Coke Zero Sugar 400 will wrap things up ahead of the playoff Chase.
What better place to finish out the regular season than Daytona? Otherwise known as the "World Center of Racing", Daytona International Speedway is one of the few Cup Series venues to host two races during the season.
This race, taking place under the lights, will be a key competition for several drivers who are still looking to secure a playoff bid. Shane van Gisbergen is currently in the 16th and final spot, sitting 31 points ahead of Austin Cindric and 66 above Brad Keselowski. Though an extraordinary or disastrous performance from anyone on the bubble could change the picture.
The Cup Series regular season will surely go out with a bang on Saturday.
