Cristiano Ronaldo just added another shiny piece of silverware to his legendary collection — and no, it’s not from the Al Nassr trophy cabinet.
The 40-year-old captain helped Portugal edge past Spain in a dramatic UEFA Nations League final in Munich.
But while the spotlight was on CR7, another moment quietly stole attention — and it involved Spain's teenage star, Lamine Yamal.
Portugal had to dig deep. Spain scored twice and looked in control, but Ronaldo pulled his team level with a sharp finish — goal number 138 for his country.
And though he went off late with a knock, he returned to the spotlight just in time — to lift the trophy after Portugal won 5-3 on penalties.
But as the Portuguese squad celebrated, cameras caught Yamal doing something... different.

What Lamine Yamal did while Ronaldo and Co. celebrated Nations League win?
As Ronaldo held the trophy high, Spain’s players stood and clapped. All except one. Yamal, just 17, removed his runner-up medal, turned around, and walked straight to the tunnel.
No clapping, no smiles — just a quiet exit. Maybe it was frustration, maybe pride. Either way, fans didn’t miss it.

The Barcelona wonderkid had a rough night. Nuno Mendes marked him out of the game and even grabbed a goal himself.
Yamal, who’d dazzled in the semi-final against France, barely made an impact. He had a few long-range tries, but Portugal’s defense kept him quiet. By extra time, he was subbed off — and visibly unhappy.
It didn’t get better. As Ronaldo’s teammates jumped in joy, Yamal wasn’t there to watch. He left the stage before the curtain could fall.
Ronaldo later said, “Winning for Portugal is always special… it’s duty done and a lot of joy.” He earned it. Yamal? He’ll probably might take this as a leaning.
