Charlie Kirk’s final book was recently released posthumously by his wife, Erika Kirk. The TPUSA founder was shot and killed in September this year. According to Winning Team Publishing, the TPUSA founder finished this book a month before his assassination.
Charlie Kirk's new book, titled 'STOP, in the Name of God,' focuses on faith. The book was released on December 9. The complete title of the book highlights that Kirk wrote about the importance of "Honoring the Sabbath."
On October 14, the publication unveiled the book on Charlie Kirk's birthday and opened its presale. Later, Erika Kirk discussed this book on Megyn Kelly's tour. She also promoted her husband's final book during her appearances on different Fox News shows.
On December 23, the media network posted a video of Erika Kirk in which she shared a message to Christians. While holding her husband's last book, Turning Point USA’s CEO said:
"This holiday season, my prayer for you is to honestly just rest. That would be my husband's message as well. There's a lot of noise out there. Holiday season can be really crazy. But I just pray that you find some alone time with the Lord and your family. Love on your babies. Love on your family members. Life is short."The video message concluded with the image of the late activist's final book and a call to order it. Earlier, on December 12, Fox News shared a video in which Kirk's wife spoke about STOP, in the Name of God. She referred to the book as "Charlie's last words" and called it "very personal." Erika Kirk summarized her husband's words as:
"He's basically saying, 'Stop, the world does not revolve around you. You need a moment to breathe. You need a moment to recalibrate. On the December 15 episode of The Charlie Kirk Show, TPUSA's CEO discussed STOP, in the Name of God with Andrew Kolvet and Blake Neff. She revisited the moment when Kirk told her he had completed the book.
"It is a book that my husband, as you know, Andrew, he was writing this for what, a year and a half, and he finished it in July. And I'll never forget him coming downstairs, and he was like, 'I finished it. I finally finished it.' I was like, 'Baby, I'm so proud of you.'" Erika Kirk recollected.She also shared that Charlie Kirk told her that he would be happy if his book could change even a single person's life. Kirk's wife also claimed that she witnessed the change in her husband's life due to this book. She said that the book "elevated him."
Andrew Kolvet also weighed in and shared that when he started working with Charlie Kirk, it was like a round-the-clock routine. He added that even his spouse voiced grievances. Kolvet said that after working on this book, TPUSA's founder started stressing work-life balance.
As per Rolling Stone, STOP, in the Name of God became one of Amazon’s bestselling titles shortly after release.
