The New Year’s Dragon has two abilities, as is typical for Prismatic-rarity Pets. With its first ability, it can breathe fireworks onto 20 to 26 random Fruits on your farm, applying the Firework Mutation. This ability can activate anywhere between nine to 18 minutes, depending on the Pet’s current level.

Its second ability activates between six minutes and 40 seconds to 12 minutes, consuming the Fruits on your farm with the Firework Mutation. Once it consumes a sufficient amount of Firework Fruits, it will give you the Dragon’s Firework gear as a reward.

The following effects occur when using the Dragon’s Firework:

• Applies the Firework or Fiery Mutations to random Fruits.
• Increases a random active Pet’s level by one.
• Spawns a random Fruit in the garden.
• Restocks one random item in the Seed, Gear, or Pet Eggs Shops.
