On Saturday night, Japan will be looking to continue its run of winning back-to-back World Baseball Classic titles in a game against Korea.

In their opening game of the WBC, Korea routed Czechia 11-4. Korea jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead after the first inning and stretched its lead to six by the third inning. The Koreans showed their dominance by scoring runs in all but two innings.

Japan will prove to be a much harder test for the Koreans compared to their first game. The reigning WBC champions feature a lineup that boasts Shohei Ohtani, Seiya Suzuki, Munetaka Murakami, and NPB Central League MVP Teruaki Soto.

Korea's young star, outfielder Jung Hoo Lee, is one of Korea's best talents and the focal point of their offense after going 2-for-4 in their opening game. Jahmai Jones (2 RBIs), Moon Bo-kyung (5 RBIs), and Shay Whitcomb (3 RBIs) will all look to build upon their multi-RBI opening games and look to build upon that against the Japanese.
