Two exciting welterweights face off in California on March 14 when Arnold Barboza Jr. takes on Kenneth Sims Jr.
Barboza (32-1) is a former interim WBO super lightweight champion. After beating Jose Ramirez and Jack Catterall, he headlined a fight card in Times Square. The Los Angeles native lost to Teofimo Lopez for gold and attempts to return to top contender status.
Sims (22-3-1) is a nine-time National Champion with eight wins via knockout. "Bossman" lost a nine-fight win streak after Oscar Duarte scored an upset win in August.

The fight headlines a stacked undercard featuring multiple title fights. The co-feature will see Oscar Collazo defending the WBA, WBO, and Ring minimumweight belts against Jesus Haro.
A Pan American Games gold medalist, Collazo (13-0) won the WBO title in 2023. He has defended it six times, also winning the WBA and Ring belts in 2024. Haro (13-3) is 2-2 in his last four fights, winning his lone fight of 2025 via knockout.
Meanwhile, Gabriela Fundora, the 2024 Fighter of the Year and The Sporting News’ 25 Under 25 top-ranked fighter, defends her status as the undisputed flyweight champion against Viviana Ruiz Corredor.
Fundora (17-0) has nine wins via knockout, defending her belts twice in 2025. Ruiz (10-2) is on a two-fight win streak and has five wins via knockout.
