No. 6 Duke will officially launch its 2025-26 season with a non-conference matchup against Texas on Tuesday night in the Dick Vitale Invitational.
It may be listed as a neutral-site game, but the Blue Devils should be comfortable playing in front of a Charlotte crowd that is expected to be largely comprised of Duke fans. After an impressive preseason, freshman Cameron Boozer will look to lead the Blue Devils to victory in the opener.
The Longhorns, meanwhile, are hoping to start the Sean Miller era with a bang. Texas hired the former Xavier coach after his Musketeers defeated the Longhorns in the First Four round of the NCAA Tournament.
