After 21 seasons, will Sunday be the last time Alex Ovechkin sets up shop in his office at Capital One Arena?

With the Capitals on the outside of the NHL playoff picture for the moment, their regular-season home finale against the Penguins could be the last time the Great 8 plays in D.C.

Though Ovechkin has played in every game this season at age 40 and has been noncommittal about his future plans, the NHL's all-time leading scorer may be ready to hang it up as his contract expires, and the home crowd certainly will be ready to salute him Sunday. In that, they can take their cue from longtime rival Pittsburgh, where the fans and Penguins players gave Ovechkin an ovation Saturday as the teams played the first leg of a home-and-home weekend set.

Ovechkin scored his 929th career goal as the Caps prevailed 6-3 in the first game, and they'll need to win Sunday and again Tuesday in Columbus, and get some help along the way, to sneak into the postseason. That's an uphill climb, though, so expect plenty of love for Ovechkin on Sunday afternoon.

Here's everything you need to know to tune in and watch.
