Wendy's embraces Wemby's special night with perfect decision

The fast food chain Wendy's noticed their name cousin, Victor Wembanyama, and the special night he had Monday for the San Antonio Spurs.

Or more to the point: Wemby's special night.

Because of that one-letter difference between the chain and the superstar's nickname, the official Wendy's social media account leaned all the way into the idea of Wemby on Tuesday.

This is what they posted on X:

Wembanyama, the giant star from France, isn't actually inspiring a name of an entire fast food chain. But if one man could do that, it would be him.

Wendy's wasn't done, either, having some serious fun in the replies to that post:

Wembanyama seems on his way to taking over the NBA.

He might as well take over the U.S. fast food industry, too.

He's a player unlike any that the sport of basketball has ever seen. He's already incredibly impressive, and he's probably still getting better.

The best version of Wemby is the kind of player who might be unstoppable.

Hopefully he doesn't do away with The Frosty, though. Everyone loves those.
