In 2024, an article from AndScape detailed that there was evidence to show, however, that Wembanyama's feet grew from a size 20 to 22 within his first NBA season alone. At the beginning of the 2023-24 season, the NBA informed AndScape that Wembanyama wore a size 20 shoe, which tied him for the largest in the league.

Additionally, in April 2024, a pair of Wembanyama’s player-exclusive Nike GT Hustle 2s were listed at an auction, which officially showed them at size 22.
