Giannis Antetokounmpo has been playing like an MVP this season and has carried the Milwaukee Bucks to a winning record so far. Antetokounmpo posterized Cooper Flagg and Daniel Gafford in Monday's game between the Bucks and the Dallas Mavericks at the American Airlines Center.

Early in the second quarter, "The Greek Freak" grabbed an offensive rebound and started backing down Gafford. After a power move to shake off the $54 million big man, Antetokounmpo dropped down a hammer dunk.

Flagg got caught after trying to help on the defensive end, but he was put on a poster instead. Gafford was also helpless as he tried his best to get a piece of the shot. Antetokounmpo added two players to his growing poster collection.

It's another "Welcome to the NBA" moment for Cooper Flagg, who was also put in a poster by Chet Holmgren earlier this season. Flagg has had some ups and downs in his first 10 games in the league. Fans online reacted to the latest dunk on the rookie.

Here are some of the comments on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Welcome to the league, Son.

Cooper Flagg just jumping and throwing his hands up 💀

Flagg is on the verge of Anthony Bennett levels of bust

Hahahahah Flagg is a joke bro!! 🤣🤣

He been on some bully sh*t this year

This is why against certain personnel.Cooper isn't ready to play the PF yet. Also another reason I dislike sub 6'10 PFs to be honest.Just gets progressively worse the shorter you get, you give up stuff

Giannis Antetokounmpo knows a thing or two about having a rough rookie season, though there weren't any expectations from him since he wasn't a No. 1 pick like Cooper Flagg. The Duke product entered with a lot of hype, especially after the Dallas Mavericks traded away Luka Doncic.

However, Flagg has had his struggles early on due to being played out of position by coach Jason Kidd. He played point guard in his first seven games before reverting to small forward.

It should be pointed out that Kidd was also the coach who tried to make Antetokounmpo a point guard early in his career. The experience did help his overall game before the move to power forward permanently.

Giannis Antetokounmpo ranks second in MVP rankings

On the latest MVP rankings by Sportskeeda, Giannis Antetokounmpo came in second, just behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Antetokounmpo is averaging 33.8 points, 12.3 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 1.1 blocks per game.

The Milwaukee Bucks had a record of 6-4 heading into Monday's matchup against the Dallas Mavericks. Antetokounmpo is the reason why the Bucks have a winning record so far despite having a subpar roster.

"The Greek Freak" was linked to trade rumors throughout the offseason before opting to stay in Milwaukee. It will be interesting to see if the Bucks could further improve their roster to make a run in a wide-open Eastern Conference.
