Fantasy Football Defense Streamers for Week 17
Jeffery Simmons at Tennessee Titans v Cleveland Browns - NFL 2025 - Source: GettyTennessee Titans (vs New Orleans Saints)
The Tennessee Titans were a top streaming option in Week 16, and while the matchup isn't quite as great this time around, you could do worse than Tennessee. The Titans will face rookie Tyler Shough as he travels to Nissan Stadium to take on Jeffery Simmons, who has forced a safety and earned 3.5 sacks in his last four games. It could only take one hit in the backfield to create a scoop and score.
The three-win Titans allowed just 133 total yards in the contest, which has every reason to give the team confidence against its next opponent.
Detroit Lions (at Minnesota Vikings)
The Minnesota Vikings could end up featuring Max Brosmer again with J.J. McCarthy nursing a hand injury. McCarthy did not practice on Monday, according to A to Z Sports in a Monday report. If Brosmer plays on Thursday, the Detroit Lions could be set up quite well with the backup quarterback only a month removed from his four-interception performance against the Seattle Seahawks.
Detroit has struggled in recent weeks, but when it faced a struggling offense as it did against the Philadelphia Eagles on Nov. 16, the team was able to hold its opponent to just 16 points. That could be the case once again.
Pittsburgh Steelers (at Cleveland Browns)
The Pittsburgh Steelers have history on the team's side. Pittsburgh has not allowed a 30-point game to the Cleveland Browns since Jan. 10, 2021. In the last three matchups, Pittsburgh has allowed nine, 14, and 24 points.
The nine-point performance by the Browns was the most recent, setting up another low-scoring game, which makes the Steelers more than streamable in the fantasy football championship.
