The NFL season is the gift that keeps on giving.

Ahead of Week 12, we continue targeting some early lines we think will move by Sunday.

There are loads of bye weeks in Week 12, and off weeks don’t end until Week 14, so we’ll have to enjoy this week without the Broncos, Chargers, Dolphins and Commanders.

Below, I break down two games that I see lines moving in throughout the week.

Week 12 early predictions

Jets +13.5 over Ravens

This is just a silly line considering where the Ravens have been this season. Baltimore is 4-6 against the spread so far this season, and quarterback Lamar Jackson doesn’t look healthy by his usual MVP standard.

Interestingly enough, the Jets’ moving to Tyrod Taylor as their starting quarterback hasn’t moved the line in either direction.

In his past five games, Justin Fields has thrown for less than 100 yards three times.

Fields is a disaster; Taylor should absolutely profile as a step up. I suspect this line moves closer to 12 points by the time this game rolls around.

Eagles -3.5 over Cowboys

Regardless of how the Cowboys look on “Monday Night Football” against the Raiders, I’d be mind-blown if this line closes within a field goal.

Philadelphia’s defense alone should be good enough to carry them to a win and cover here at this price.

Ahead of Week 1, the Eagles were 7.5-point favorites against the Cowboys in a home game.

Betting on the NFL?

Now, the Eagles’ offense isn’t performing up to the standard we expected, and the Cowboys have been a bit better than we projected.

But still, these lines look far too short. The Eagles’ offense has room to improve, while the defense appears to be among the best in football.
