ONE atomweight Muay Thai world champion Nadaka rooted for fellow Japanese fighter Takeru Segawa and came away impressed with the latter's TKO victory over Bosnian-Canadian fighter Denis Puric at ONE 173 last month.
The 24-year-old star caught Takeru's match backstage of ONE 173 at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan, on Nov. 16. Along with his team, he watched with bated breath as 'The Natural Born Krusher' steadily dismantled 'The Bosnian Menace' with crisp striking on his way to scoring four knockdowns inside the first two rounds to claim the TKO win.
ONE Championship shared a split video of Nadaka watching Takeru do his thing inside the Circle at the marquee event on Instagram for fight fans to look back on.

Taking a cue from what Takeru did, Nadaka was also a handful as he went for the inaugural ONE atomweight Muay Thai world title later in the night. He dominated Thai opponent Numsurin Chor Ketwina to make his way to the decision victory and add his name to the list of ONE Championship titleholders.
Through the course of his five-round title clash against Numsurin, the Japanese star showcased the skill set that made him a 10-time Muay Thai world champion. He made full use of feints in luring his opponent before exploding with clean and accurate strikes early before picking things up further as the fight wore on with his combinations, which the Thai fighter had a hard time matching consistently.

Nadaka honored to be part of ONE's champions row
While Muay Thai world titles are no longer new for Nadaka, the ONE atomweight Muay Thai belt that he won at ONE 173 carries a lot of significance for him, seeing how championships in the promotion are coveted in the martial arts world.
He spoke about it following his title conquest, telling the official post-fight press conference for ONE 173:
“ONE Championship gold is not just coveted among strikers, but also MMA fighters and everybody around the world. And to be a part of that elite group has made me very happy. And I would like to continue to, as a martial artist in my daily life, live my daily life in a way that is befitting of a champion, and I would like to continue to raise ONE Championship up as the greatest organization in the world.”His latest victory was Nadaka's 40th straight, with the last four coming under Championship, which he joined earlier this year.
