The couple maintained silence for a long while, until recently, when Earle decided to finally speak out against all the criticism and speculations going around about her relationship with the Texans WR.

On Sunday, Earle shared an Instagram Reel featuring a clip of herself confirming her breakup with Berrios. Talking about the grief she has been dealing with, in addition to giving an update on her relationship status, the Sports Illustrated model said:

"It's been really hard to process, in general, and I think why I have been scared to say something because I just feel it as more reel. Braxton and I are no longer together."

In her confession video, Alix Earle admitted feeling guilty for not being able to support Braxton Berrios the way she wanted to and the way he deserved to be supported. Moreover, since Berrios has been her "best friend," there has been a major uncertainty she has been dealing with about how to move forward from the broken relationship.

"I want him to have someone with him, 24/7 who can support him and be there for him. He wasn't really expecting that of me," Earle said in the video. "I think it was more a me thing, but I constantly felt like guilty. And I love Braxton, where he's my best friend, you know, so it's been really difficult as we're trying to just go forward with this."

On Thursday, Braxton Berrios shared an Instagram post featuring a handful of pictures of himself from different timelines, showing off his stylish fashion sense. The post attracted multiple comments related to his relationship with Alix Earle and his missing the DWTS finale.

Replying to one of the fans' comments, Berrios shared the reality behind not attending the finale of DWTS and said:

"I would've loved to be. Sadly I wasn't able to travel like that in-season."

While Alix Earle has finally spoken out about her breakup with Braxton Berrios, the Texans' wide receiver has maintained silence. The Texans are set to take on the Arizona Cardinals in their Week 15 game, less than 24 hours away.
