Bron Breakker is all set to go to war with CM Punk on January 5th, which is the first anniversary of the RAW on Netflix premiere. Ahead of the big bout, he sent a chilling message to his opponent.
WWE hosted the first live event of the year in Syracuse, and Bron Breakker was, as you might expect, a part of the festivities. He was victorious on the night, giving him major momentum for his World Heavyweight championship match against CM Punk on January 5th.
Ahead of that match, Breakker would send a chilling message with his hand gestures, implying that he was ready for what Punk had to offer this coming Monday on RAW.
What is the future of RAW if Bron Breakker becomes World Heavyweight Champion?
Many aren't expecting Bron Breakker to defeat CM Punk to become the World Heavyweight Champion. This past week on RAW, Breakker admitted that he was tired of hearing people say that he is a "future" WrestleMania main eventer, a "future" top star, and a "future" World Champion.
Breakker hit back, stating that he is the present and putting his stamp of authority on it. He will be validated if he defeats CM Punk on January 5th to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. But what will happen if that moment occurs?
For one, The Vision's grip on Monday Night RAW will tighten. For decades now, we have seen factions dominate RAW, from Evolution to The Shield to The Authority to The Judgment Day, and now, The Vision. It will put them definitively on top and likely mean that they will dominate the red brand for a couple of years to come at the very least.
It could also serve as a pivot for stars like Logan Paul, Bronson Reed, and Austin Theory, who could potentially go after the Intercontinental and World Tag Team Titles, giving them all the gold in the process. With that being said, there is still a large possibility that Breakker loses, as WWE is known not to take major risks and pull off surprise title changes under this current regime, unless it is viewed as necessary.
Breakker winning the World Title would be an unlikely candidate to be called a "necessary" move, but regardless, it's going to be an intense main event, where he looks to pin CM Punk for the second time.
