The Dallas Cowboys have already beaten the Washington Commanders once this season, picking up a win in their Week 7 matchup. They’ll be aiming for a season sweep when the two teams meet again on Christmas Day.
While this Week 17 game carries no playoff implications with both teams already eliminated, the divisional rivalry ensures there will still be plenty at stake in terms of pride and bragging rights.
The Commanders will be without Jayden Daniels, who is done for the year, and Marcus Mariota, who is dealing with a hand injury. That leaves Josh Johnson to lead Washington’s offense on Thursday afternoon against the Cowboys.

Dallas struggled to score in their loss to the Chargers, putting up only 17 points, but their offense has generally been strong this season. They’ll aim to get back on track at Northwest Stadium.
