The Golden State Warriors added some serious athleticism to their roster this week.
They signed Jeenathan "Nate" Williams to a two-way contract.
Williams is a 6-foot-5 lefty originally from Rochester, N.Y., where he played at University Prep before spending time at Prolific Prep in California. He then starred collegiately at the University of Buffalo.

— NEW RECRUIT MEDIA (@NewRecruitMedia) May 31, 2017Williams has appeared in three NBA seasons, one with the Portland Trail Blazers and two with the Houston Rockets.
His averages through 47 NBA games are 3.9 points, 1.1 rebounds, 0.6 assists and 0.3 steals.
Williams has spent this entire season in the G League with the Long Island Nets.
In 22 games, Williams has averaged 17.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
Williams is shooting 34.5% from 3-point range, which is substantially better than his career NBA rate. Any improvements in that regard have to help his chances of making an impact in the league.
For now, Warriors fans will wait to see if Golden State plans to let Williams see action at the NBA level.
