The Golden State Warriors are one of the popular trade rumor destinations for Giannis Antetokounmpo.
But in terms of assets and matching money, the Warriors will actually have a tough time pulling off a deal for Antetokounmpo.
They could look instead to another player who was once dubbed a "unicorn" in NBA circles, one who has made $204 million over the course of his NBA career.
That player? Kristaps Porzingis.
The Latvian star is under contract for one more season with the Celtics at approximately $30 million. His trade cost would be drastically smaller than that of Giannis, and ClutchPoints' Brett Siegal suggests the Warriors could be interested.

Porzingis would come with plenty of health risk. He's oft-injured, and he recently dealt with a mysterious illness as the Celtics were upset in the playoffs by the Knicks.
But he's a gargantuan floor spacer with a smooth stroke from outside, strong finishing inside and great rim-protection ability.
He's the type of strong upside play that the Warriors might have to take to give their aging core one more shot at the deal.

Even Porzingis' salary, only about 60% of Antetokounmpo's, would require a bit of cap gymnastics to match in a Warriors trade, but it's more plausible.
It might be a big swing worth taking by Golden State to give Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Jimmy Butler one more chance at the big trophy.
