A newly acquired Brooklyn Net is already being mentioned in trade discussions.
Forward Michael Porter Jr. is drawing interest from multiple teams ahead of February's trade deadline, per Forbes' Evan Sidery.
"The Bucks, Pistons and Warriors are among the teams who have checked in with the Nets on Michael Porter Jr.," Sidery posted.

Porter has had a resurgent season in Brooklyn so far. He's averaging 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists. He's shooting 49.1% from the field and 40.1% from deep in 24 games.

Porter has just over $79 million left on a 5-year rookie extension he signed with the Nuggets in 2021. He's set to make $38.3M this season and around $40M next year before becoming an unrestricted free agent.
The Nets traded Cam Johnson for Porter and a Nuggets 2032 first-round pick last offseason in a salary-dumping move for Denver.
He was a key member of the Nuggets for six seasons, where he started 291 games. He's averaged 16.8 points, 6.5 rebounds and shot 40.6% from three in his career.
Brooklyn may opt to sell high on Porter, whose trade value continues to increase. The Nets could move him now for an immediate return or wait until the offseason when he becomes an expiring contract. Brooklyn, which sits at 9-19, is not in the playoff picture right now and is still building for the future.
