Star batter Virat Kohli was mobbed at the Bengaluru airport after his stunning knocks in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) 2025-26. Kohli appeared in two games for Delhi against Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat.

Following Delhi's game against Gujarat on Friday, December 26, Virat Kohli was spotted at the Bengaluru airport. As he was getting into the car, he was surrounded by a large crowd despite security cover. The paps were not only asking him questions about his performance in the VHT 2025-26 and where he was going, but also asked him to pose for pictures.

Kohli was seen asking them to take it easy without rushing. He also posed for pictures and was all smiles. The star batter was seen wearing a black textured sweater, black pants, and a cap, along with a small bag.

Virat Kohli won the 'Player of the Match' against Gujarat. He struck a brilliant 77 off just 61 balls with 13 fours and a six at a strike rate of 126.22 as Delhi won the game.

In their first game against Andhra Pradesh, Kohli scored a magnificent century. He made 131 runs off 101 balls with 14 boundaries and three sixes at a strike rate of 129.70.

It remains to be seen whether Kohli will feature in one more game for Delhi in the VHT 2025-26 before joining the Indian team for their upcoming ODI series against New Zealand in January 2026.


Virat Kohli ends 2025 on a stellar note

Virat Kohli ended the year on a fabulous note with brilliant knocks and consistent performances across international and domestic cricket. In the recent ODI series against South Africa, he answered all the questions regarding his spot for the 2027 World Cup.

He smashed 302 runs from three games at an average of 151 and a strike rate of 117.05 with two hundreds and a half-century. His scores in the series were 135, 102, and 65 not out.

Further, he carried his sensational form into the VHT 2025-26 as well, scoring 208 runs in two games at a strike rate of 128.39.

His terrific form ahead of the start of a new year and the upcoming New Zealand series comes as excellent news for Team India.
