Virat Kohli & Anushka Sharma spend 2026 New Year’s with extended family in Dubai [In Picture]

Veteran India cricketer Virat Kohli and his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, celebrated New Year 2026 in Dubai with friends and family. The Delhi-born batter’s brother, Vikas Kohli, shared a glimpse of the festivities on Instagram stories.

In the photo, Virat can be seen posing with his nephew, Aryaveer Kohli, alongside other relatives, including his sister Bhawna Kohli Dhingra and her husband.

On the cricketing front, the 37-year-old recently represented Delhi in the opening two games of the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26. In the Round 1 clash against Andhra Pradesh on December 24, the right-handed batter scored a brilliant 131 off 101 balls, including 14 fours and three sixes, helping Delhi chase down 299 and secure a four-wicket victory.

In Round 2 against Gujarat on December 26, he continued his fine form with 77 off 61 balls, hitting 13 fours and a six as Delhi posted 254/9. Prince Yadav starred with the ball, taking three wickets to guide Delhi to a narrow seven-run win.

During Delhi’s Round 2 match of the Vijay Hazare Trophy against Gujarat, Vishal Jayswal came into the limelight after dismissing Virat Kohli. In an interview with KADAK, released on January 1, the 27-year-old said he did not get much time to speak with Kohli after the game but managed to get the ball signed and shared:

“He also had to leave, there wasn’t much time. As soon as the match ended, I wanted his signature on that ball, so I went to meet him. I got his signature on the ball. We didn’t talk much. He just said that I was bowling well, to keep at it, that I was doing a good job, and that I would get more opportunities going forward.”

Meanwhile, according to a Cricbuzz report, Virat Kohli could return to action in Delhi’s penultimate league match against Railways on January 6.
