Physicality has been a big part of the Western Conference Finals between the San Antonio Spurs and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Victor Wembanyama has been at the center of this physicality.
Isaiah Hartenstein made a significant impact in Game 2, as he kept crashing into Wembanyama. Since the referees did not call fouls on them, it was allowed, so Hartenstein and the Thunder took advantage.
Victor Wembanyama knows physicality is part of the game in the Playoffs
During the Playoffs, the games tighten up because both teams are looking for ways to win. There are slim margins, so any advantage they can get, they will utilize. For the Thunder, they know being physical on defense is a big part of how they can win games.
Considering Wembanyama is significantly bigger than any of their players, being physical can equalize the matchup. It has worked out in Games 2 and 3, which is why Wemby is not making any complaints about it.

He knows the Spurs can do much better than what they have done in Games 2 and 3. Since he is taking the brunt of the physicality, he dislikes it, but he has no choice but to accept it, so he can keep playing.
"They're being physical. The difference, maybe, with this team is their experience; they're maybe being smarter about it. But we just got to find the answers," Wembanyama said after Game 3.
Wembanyama is not making any excuses because the only factors they can control are what the team does. Being physical is what has made OKC successful, so the Spurs must adjust because if they don't, this series will be a breeze for the Thunder.
