San Antonio Spurs guard Dylan Harper suffered a right hamstring injury in the third quarter of Wednesday night's 122-113 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 2 of the Western Conference finals.
As the series shifts back to San Antonio, we now have more clarity about the status of the Spurs rookie. Harper will be a game-time decision tonight in Game 3, according to ESPN's Shams Charania. "MRI showed an adductor injury, not a hamstring." Harper will be out for the pregame warm-up, but is currently a "Game-time decision."
Harper's injury was another blow to the Spurs backcourt. De'Aaron Fox has missed consecutive games dealing with a right high ankle sprain suffered in Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals. We'll see if either Harper or Fox will be available.
