The 2026 NCAA men's lacrosse tournament has been full of upsets and unexpected victories, which means the semifinals are sure to excite.
After several rounds of play, only four teams remain in the running for a title — No. 1 overall Princeton, No. 2 Notre Dame, No. 6 Syracuse and unranked Duke. Syracuse beat out No. 3 seed North Carolina in the quarterfinals, and Duke ousted No. 4 Richmond in the first round.
Reigning champions Cornell couldn't make it past the first round, but Notre Dame is still in the running and looking to hoist the trophy again after back-to-back championships in 2023-24. And of course, powerhouse program Princeton is also making a strong campaign — the school last won it all in 2001.
