The Houston Texans defeated the Buffalo Bills 23-16 on Thursday to put themselves above. 500 for the first time in the 2025 season. But the finish to that game is generating heated discussion online.

Facing a 4th-and-6 at the opposing 22 with 24 seconds left to play, Josh Allen threw an interception to Calen Bullock. At the same time, Gabe Davis was called for offensive pass interference.

Without the concussed CJ Stroud, the Texans were buoyed by backup quarterback Davis Mills, who covered only 153 yards on 16 completions but scored two touchdowns to Christian Kirk and Jayden Higgins. In addition, Ka'imi Fairbairn was perfect on five kicks -- three field goals and two extra points.

Allen, meanwhile, had a disastrous outing. Besides throwing two picks to Bullock, who also forced a lost fumble on Khalil Shakir, he was also sacked eight times, with Will Anderson Jr. accounting for 2.5 of them. The Bills' two touchdowns came courtesy of a rush by James Cook (17 carries for 116 yards) and a 97-yard kickoff return by Ray Davis.
