Unfortunate news for WWE fans following RAW

Some unfortunate news for WWE fans has emerged following this week's episode of RAW. The promotion is now on the road to Survivor Series 2025 later this month in San Diego, California.

President of WWE, Nick Khan, spoke during the TKO 2025 Third Quarter Financials Call today and provided an update on the company's increased ticket prices. Khan suggested that the promotion appropriately increased the prices due to the marketplace and boasted about WWE's success.

"We’ve increased prices appropriately with the marketplace. That’s for the PLEs, Raw, SmackDown, Saturday Night’s Main Event, and every other ticketed program that WWE has. We remain bullish on it. A couple of years ago when TKO was put up, one of the first things we collectively did was reduce the non-televised live events, which created more scarcity in the marketplace for our televised events and our continued international expansion only furthered that," he said.

Khan also discussed the promotion's plans for the future and suggested that it was a good thing that there were fewer events in the United States for the company.

"In January, you’ll see us on a European tour for Raw and SmackDown, leading into Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia. Tickets already on fire for that event and it creates more scarcity in the United States, which is a good thing in terms of our overall gauge," he added. [H/T: Fightful]

Nick Khan says he takes 100% responsibility for all the failures in WWE. “If we fail at something, it's 100% my responsibility. If we succeed at something, it's everyone else's success. If you have a problem, bring it to me, it becomes our problem.” SUCH A GREAT MINDSET 🔥

The promotion crowned two new champions at Saturday Night's Main Event earlier this month. CM Punk captured the World Heavyweight Championship at the event, and Jade Cargill defeated Tiffany Stratton to become the new WWE Women's Champion.

Former WWE star reacts to the company's ticket prices

Wrestling legend Rob Van Dam recently shared his thoughts on the promotion's incredibly high ticket prices.

Speaking with Bill Apter in an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling, RVD wondered how fans were supposed to afford the tickets, but noted it was good business and could lead to the reputation of professional wrestling improving.

"I am amazed at the ticket prices that I've heard that they've already done with the recent couple of them. I don't see how people can afford 60-70 thousand dollars to sit in the front row. I don't know what the prices are. Some of them I heard it's two days and you get to meet Cena, whatever. I mean, I see what they're doing and if it works, then it's good business. If it becomes something that's just for the elite and the wealthy, then maybe wrestling will have a minute where it's image is cleaned up a little bit. At the same time, it's becoming more of a safe, working environment as opposed to the boys club, closed-door society," he said.
