It's tough to stick around for a long time in the NFL as an undrafted player.
That's what Levi Wallace did, though, playing 96 games in the league before announcing his retirement.
Wallace posted on Instagram on Friday to confirm that he is stepping away from the game:
Cornerback Levi Wallace announced on IG that he’s retiring.
Spent eight years in the league, starting 72 games.

Wallace notes in his IG post that he was also college walk-on.
His sign-off words in his post: "Not bad."
Wallace made the roster at Alabama, worked his way into a role, then signed with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted player from the Crimson Tide.
With the Bills, Wallace played in 52 games, and in his final three seasons in Buffalo, he snatched two interceptions apiece for a total of six with the Bills.

He then played 31 games with the Pittsburgh Steelers, snagging four picks in year one and another two in year two.
Wallace played for the Denver Broncos for 13 games in 2024.
He was with the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2025 preseason but got hurt and missed the whole year.
Now, at age 31, Wallace has called it quits.
