The 2025 United Football League regular season has concluded, and the UFL playoffs get underway this weekend. Four teams enter conference championship weekend — two in the XFL, two in the USFL — vying for a berth in the second UFL Championship.
The St. Louis Battlehawks (8-2) and DC Defenders (6-4) square off Sunday night in what might be the game of the weekend. The top teams from the XFL Conference tied for a league-high seven All-UFL Team selections, and they split their regular-season series 1-1.
Right before that match, the Birmingham Stallions (7-3) will host the Michigan Panthers (6-4) in the USFL title game. Birmingham has never lost to Michigan, but the Panthers have enjoyed an offensive breakout this year. They scored 245 points, narrowly edging the Stallions to finish as the league's top-scoring team.
