What Villanova legend isn't interested in a HC spot with the Knicks?
Former Villanova coach Jay Wright was one of the names people thought would be a good fit to coach New York.
He was reported as a candidate despite stating in the past that he wouldn't return to coaching, after retiring.
On Saturday, it was confirmed by Seth Davis of Hoops HQ that Wright wasn't interested in a position with the Knicks.
Wright reportedly spoke to Leon Rose but reiterated that he would be staying retired, despite no interview or job offer from the Knicks.
Wright has a close relationship with several Knicks players that he coached at Villanova (Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, Mikal Bridges).
